Oil Painting

Whether it is painting from a reference photo, on location in plein air, or creating as I go... there is nothing like the freedom of a traditional painting. It's here that you get an intimate glimpse into an artist's soul and see the world as he/she sees and interprets it.

I do reference from photos from time to time, or upon request. But the bulk of my "original" work tends to be fragments of my own experiences and memories. I enjoy an open-ended approach, where I have a basic idea in mind but let it evolve naturally as the painting progresses.

I also do commissions. Let me know what you're looking for and I'd be happy to discuss options and put together a quote for you. For all commissions and design work, I require a 50% deposit to guarantee your spot and for me to begin production.
